The Unholy Trinity Tour – Australia (2015)

Why I am no longer a Christian

evid3nc3 1

I explain my life as a born-again Christian, my deconversion, and my life as an atheist. In the deconversion section, I show how evidence, reason, and experiences related to prayer, morality, deconverted Christians, the Bible, and my relationship with God Himself all lead to my eventual inability to believe anymore.” – Evid3nc3

TTA 1After growing up in church and devoting so much time and effort into my faith then walking away from it all I am left with many feelings that I could not find the words to express. I searched for a long time to put it into words and I came across this podcast on the Thinking Atheist that was so helpful and really set my mind free of all the baggage that had followed me through my deconversion. I relate to just about everything that Seth talks about and feel like most coming out of Christianity probably feel the same way. I hope that it gives voice to your thoughts as much as it does mine.
